This EP is a lullabye in wartime... a declaration of peace in a
world where global communication is possible but ordinary people’s
lives are destroyed by governments and corporations at war with
each other. These are serious songs about a serious subject... but
no matter what is happening in your life or in the world,
remember to relax, give & receive love, and laugh. I know the
Daily Show & Eddie Izzard got me through the winter...

I began to write ‘Citizen’ during the war in Bosnia. It was a
beautiful sunny day here, and I felt both lucky and sad. I
finished the song on 9/11. I wrote ‘Home’ a couple of weeks later
in response to what was happening in NYC, in Iraq, and in my
heart. And I wrote ‘Perfect Day’ years ago for my friends, who
sustain me. I hope these songs bring you some inner peace,
strength, and perspective... Thanks for listening.
